Football Manager 2015 Review

INTRODUCTION:
The first game i will be reviewing is Football Manager 2014. Football manager started off as championship manager in 1992 and is a  game developed by sports interactive and published by Sega. Football manager to day is now available on mac, PC and PlayStation portable devices.

SINGLEPLAYER: [ 8 ]

The Game Sounds are generally only occur when in the match. The sounds are the crowding jeering and the sound of the ball being kicked. Also there is a sound for when a goal has been scored. These sounds are basic and many chose to play without them.

The game controls tare very simple. The main controls are using the space bar to simulate time, the mouse/track pad to select tactics or move players etc and the arrows to browse through messages. All of these can be changed to anything you want them to be.

There are no missions in game, but there is a challenge mode and different game modes are widely available to download of fm.base or other football manager community sights as well as the steam market place. You can also get a football manager edit which is a add on that you can get off the steam market place where you can edit leagues, players and teams to create your own challenges.

The difficulty/ease to pick up the game is fairly simple once you have got used to the game and used all the different in game applications that football manager has to offer. If you are stuck there is a help bar that can navigate you to places you are unable to find or tell you tips etc.

MULTIPLAYER: [ 7 ]

There is only one game mode in online football manager and that is the classic football manager save. Expect in the online mode you are able to play with numerous players control multiple teams and play together. You can also download different kind of saves from the steam marketplace and many other sights such as fm.scout.

It is extremely easy to get into a online game there is a specific button that takes you into a shortlist of games. After doing this you then choose your game settings as well as how you want the save to run. After this you will be able to start the online game after the game has loaded the settings. You can customize your skin as well as players and kits but you can only apply these to online games if you are the host of the save.

GRAPHIC QUALITY: [ 4 ]

The graphic quality is nothing compared to Fifa the players only have 1 difference to one another and that is their skin colour, you are unable to make out player faces and it is generally poor.

SOUND QUALITY: [ 4 ]

The sound quality on Football Manager is poor, there are only 3 in game sounds and it is better to play with them off in my opinion.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: [ 23 ]
Overall i think Football Manager is a great game, although there could be some bits that could be added on in the future to make it a better game.

P4 Promotional Campaign

Fifa -

The target audience of Fifa is usually males aged 6-25.

The promotional campaigns are very different and are made to target different segments of their overall target market.
This advert shows the Fifa being advertised on a nuts magazine. This means it will be aimed at men over the age  of 18 due to the fact that Nuts is 18+ magazine.

This particular Fifa advert is being advertised in a local game shop with professional footballer Scott Parker, because their is a professional footballer at the launch regardless of who it was it increased the interest in going down to the shop and getting the game.

This advert is the main advert for the game and was shown over the TV. It involved some of the best and most notable players in the advert to gain interest in the game through the younger audience.

Graphics Lesson - Week 7-8

Vector graphics are comprised of paths, which are defined by a start and end point, whereas Raster graphic are digital images represented by a matrix or grid of pixels called a bitmap.

Vector images scale well, but lack the color depth of raster images.                                                          Raster images cannot scale without loss of quality.

Aspect ratio is the ratio of the width to the height of an image. 30:17
